Palmar block, Pincer block and Peg in cup Set

While grasping may seem like a second nature to an adult, this is a developmental milestone for a child.

This set includes:

Palmar block (left): Palmar grasp is a hand movement where the child brings all the fingers towards the palm. As the child learns to pull out the cylinder using palmar grasp and brings it back to the block, the repetition develops concentration and eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills.

Pincer block (middle): Pincer grasp on the other hand is the coordination of the index finger and thumb to hold objects. Small knob encourages a child to pick up using the pincer grasp.

Peg in cup (right): A great material to practice fine motor and hand-eye coordination. Infants who are working on this material concentrate on putting the peg in and out of the cup repeatedly.

Can be purchased individually or as a set.

Materials: Made of maple wood. Finished with beeswax and raw linseed oil.
