Object Permanence Box

A classic material that is found on a prepared environment, object permanence box can be introduced to a child who can sit without a support.

Object permanence describes a child's ability to understand that an object continue to exist even when not seen or perceived. This material helps a child recognize that an object (ball) that disappears from view still exists and will eventually return. This also encourages the development of hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, focus and concentration.

Materials: Made of birch/pine wood. Painted with nontoxic paint. Finished with beeswax and linseed oil.
